Our mission is to "Run, hand in hand, the race God has set out for us, reaching out for God, each other, and to our community." Thank you for your interest in Hand in Hand Youth ministries. Our philosophy here is about creating a Christian atmosphere where Youth can explore what it means to be a Christian in today’s world. We do this through activities, bible studies, trips, and service projects. We believe that youth who have formed a strong foundation in Gods word, turned their beliefs into convictions, and have developed deep roots in their church, become the strong champions for Christ needed for tomorrow. Our intent is not that every youth becomes evangelists or ministers but that they come to a deeper understanding of Gods call in their life and how they are able to live out that call in an environment that is often hostile to those with strong spiritual beliefs. In this way, every activity becomes an exercise in how to demonstrate the love of Christ during everyday activities.

Our foundation is in the United Methodist Church but we welcome youth from all denominations and walks to join us. Our mission is not restricted to those who are members of Salem Church, nor do we seek youth to commit themselves to the United Methodist philosophy.
